Merchants reset their items?

Someone told me merchants reset what they sell every long rest, but it didnt work, so i was thinking if it is a bug, or they dont really regain even their money to trade. If not i think it might be a plausible feature to add ingame, what you guys think?

They do indeed refresh after long rests and level ups.

thanks for the answer, i went to 2 different forgers at act 3 but what they were selling was still the same even after some long rests i took and their gold was no more
