Spider Lyre issue

So I killed the 3 bandit lords, I did not know about the spider lyre so I sold it to the thiefling blacksmith. I completed the druid grove quest so the thieflings are gone and I have no spider lyre.

Is this absolutely needed or I am screwed?

You can get the Boaaal Lyre in the Myst Cave, after defeating the fallen Priestess Koko, so you should be good.

I think that thing above me was made up, but I cannot confirm this as fact. Sounds like nonsense, though.

The tiefling blacksmith, Dammon, can be met in act 2 so you could potentially buy it back (don't know if his inventory gets cleared out) but to answer your question, the Lyre is super duper nonessential.

You don't need it, the guy with the lantern for the quest ends up appearing anyways eventually. I think killing all the absolute guys at the camp waiting for him is the trigger.
