For those wondering if you can recruit Jaheira after major fight

I had this question prior to my playthrough, but couldn't seem to find the answer so I'm posting this here in case it helps anyone else.

These events take place in Act II at Moonrise Tower.

TL;DR: Yes, you can still recruit Jaheira after the major fight

Detailed:
I opted not to recruit Jaheira into my party when the option was given in starting the raid on Moonrise Tower, and also opted not to recruit Jaheira prior to the second phase. I was worried that was my last chance to recruit her since every guide I saw said to accept her at both points to ensure she joined as a companion. However, after the major battle, I was still presented with the option to recruit Jaheira. There may be other flags, but I can say for sure that just passing on the first two opportunities does not mean you can't recruit her as a companion.

Issue was if she died the 1st 2 times not in ur party. U accept her so u can control her better.

Dude thank you, no one online has mentioned this. I'm playing on tactician and there's no fkn way I'm beating Act 2 with her bum ass replacing someone else.

If you let her join during the fight she's an extra party member, not a replacement.


Though for me she only had 2 spells selected, and I don't believe I could make her select more. And no ranged weapon.

She died in that fight on my run. I decided to leave it as is.

What really sucks is you get a druid right after getting a much better druid (Halsin can heal in Owlbear form and Jaheira cannot.

Yeah I'm kinda confused why they give you two druids so close to each other. Feels like Jaheira was added later in development.

Wish they'd at least let Halsin join you in Act 1 so they weren't quite so close.
