[Spoilers] - Killing Gortash During Ceremony??

Please answer as spoiler free as possible! :)

So im poking around the edges of chapter 3, and killed Gortash during his ceremony does this sequence break the game really hard, should I reload to before I did this to see an otherwise more interesting ending?

on the bright side, i got an achievment xD

You'll miss out on a bunch of quests, it will also mess up the ending for 2 or three quests you can still get but cant finish (will be patched at some point I guess).

No. They aren't going to patch it so an option you choose doesn't lock you out of quests. That's a part of the game and the consequences of your choices during it.

To the OP. Props for killing him at that point. When I tried to engage that fight there was no way I was going to survive the onslaught of like 7 mech guards on top of all the humans and Gortash.

Sorcerer, i ambushed him with a Lv5 scorching ray, then didn two more straight after, was over in a flash honestly... then i just ran xD

i just did this myself on tact, i came in the back side of the hall right behind gortash, i then used a spell to lock one of the only two doors that can come to where i was staged and then kept a fire wall up and a dark cloud, then just kept the steel watch stuck in the door way and kept the rest from being able to move by them, it took forever and was hard as hell and i had like 20 of the green healing potions on each chr b4, took me a couple hours to do it with one fail.
