and how can i do a lot of money? doing side quest?
Both, most of the vendor stuff is "it's good until I find something better" only if you have the gold to spend (tbh if you loot a lot, gold shouldn't be a problem, and you should donate when you can to keep prices low)
But otherwise you're going to be finding quite a few uniques in the world
Also remember that on level up, the vendor's inventory will update, as they scale with you. Obviously though the guy in the emerald grove isn't going to be scaling super high as he is a starter merchant
When you find loot just sell it, you'll be swimming in gold in no time (especially gems, vendors love gems, can easily get a couple hundred for a couple of gems)
it's a Larian game. You make money by finding 10,000 rotten tomatoes and selling them for 1 gold piece.
2 rules:
- collect everything (~really~ everything - spoons, cauldrons ...)
- gift items to the trader until relation is at 100
= profit
---
I'd buy as soon as good items are available. Especially the blue & purple items should be checked. Armor is something I always buy (as one only finds a slim selection - for heavy armors, that is). Weapons are somewhat mroe common.
There are great items to find too. But you might not find them if you don't kill certain people. Since they're dropped from enemies.
Loot everything, use your high charisma character to buy and sell... start the interaction with that character, switching to it doesn't help the prices.
