Slayer Form Broken

Im positive something about the Slayer Form is completely bugged. It has super low DC's. you dont apply ANY ability score bonus to ANY of your attacks. Meaning you basically run up to someone and do 4 attacks with an incredibly low to-hit. Then you deal 4d4 damage.

Why is this bad?

I can literally outdamage this as a rogue by 2 handing shortswords and not sneak-attacking.

So whats the point of the form? To Tank? Its supposed to be the avatar of murder, yet it sucks at murdering anything. In fact, its awful at it.

This form also breaks all my accessories(they just stop working), forcing to rewear them all.

Slayer form constantly misses and doesn't do a lot of damage, it's got nothing on my MC's regular form. Would make a lot of sense if it was broken atm.

It was kind of useless in the original Baldur's Gate games too. I think it's just a meme by developers, including for roleplay but ultimately pointless.

Or maybe it speaks to how feeble Bhaal is and how you should totally go the path of the lawful good guy.

supposedly this happens with all shapeshifter abilities. buddy is playing druid and has to rewear all his gear whenever he wildshapes

I really wish it could scale with lvl and do more aoe to be the real solo murder machine that's op against enemies after all it's pve rpg >_>

Actually if u going for a solo run in tactician slayer form is really important, one of the stronger builds for solo runs is druid of the moon, with tavern brawler lvl 4, u get 85-95% hit chance while transformed, u can transform in 2 owlbears, 1 displacer beast and 1 slayer form, in early-mid levels u already have 300-400 health, a lot of damage and tank, u can multi class but going full druid u still get as summons a great elemental to help, a minor elemental and a dryad as well, to finish of u still have one spell to hold while transformed and your 300-400 health can go even higher if u use high level spell to heal in wild-form not even counting for potion in bonus action

Its a good amount of health its just that its saves and damage are so low that almost nobody is going to fail the saves

Not everyone is palying the game with classes in only one thng in mind: DamAgE

In tactician the game is not even much harder so who cares, we play the classes for being fun

Yeah Slayer sucks. Very low DC's for its skills. Cant make someone bleed or daze them? youre useless. And to top it all off the HP is way too low because of the AC hit you take in this form. Transforming into Slayer against tough enemies is like skipping your next 4-5 turns (thats when youre dead)

I remember at least it is one of the method to kill the demi lich.

I've found it makes for an adequate damage sponge if you use frenzy/rage as a barb before going into it, making you take half damage from all physical attacks and with it's 140+ or something HP pool at level 12.
That's all it's really good for though, you'll miss out on a lot of damage.
"Let the Slaughter Begin" would also make it better as a sponge, but I'm not sure it works, probably doesn't.

Ive found that its main attack "slay" is pretty good even though you only get one attack per turn. Wish I found it earlier but its not an ability like the rest :)
