Romance options BG3 compare to Cyberpunk 2077.

what this game is lacking is sexual orientation for companion to be clear rather than making everyone bisexual.

Take example of gale's romance options, i used a female MC, and i have choose the flirt option in act 1 and let the whole scene play out in in act 2, it was clear that gale is written for a straight female audience, i have watched a lot of romance, from various Kdrama like crash landing on you, to western romance like twilight, and yes even things like fifity shade of gray, and gale fit the bill of what generally a woman oriented view would be for an attractive male partner , he is funny, handsome, a gentleman , has a mansion, owns a cat, successful in his career and had rocky previous relationship, then a messy break up with a GODDESS BTW. so this claim of him being "gay" is already very dubious when gale loved a goddess. the idea here is clearly, that you the player fit into the "avaerge girl" is what Gale truly seek all this time the missing piece that fit into his life, and this has done in many other various romance drama, where there is a rich successful guy who has a heart of gold but only one thing is missing is a girl in his life. and the female lead usually an "average girl" burst into his life in the most unexpected way. so people who say Gale being gay or creepy or whatever must have never watched never watched any romance drama.

But that being said, i do have to point out hte problem everyone is bisexual, which is why i think it might be a bit lazy on hte part of larian, in Cyberpunk 2077, there are also LGBT relationship but they also take into account of which characters have their own sexual orientations, take example of Panam, Kerry Judy and river , you cannot romance Panam as a woman since she is straight, she will turn you down if you flirt with her, you cannot romance Kerry as a woman either since he is gay, on hte other hand Judy is a lesbian and you can't romance her if you a man. and you cannot romance River as man since he is straight.

Cyberpunk has a much natrual and organic feel in this way that it make sense not everyone is bisexual.

It's funny that you are trying to elevate CP 2077 lmao Playing as male V, the entire questline with River was incredibly homosexual, until it came time for the last moment of the last quest where River legit turns down male V with no kiss, despite all the homosexually erotic dialogue earlier.

Quick google search will tell you that CDPR was so ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ lazy that they kept the dialogue the same for River whether you are a female V or male V, causing River to come off as a gay romance option, of course until the last dialogue option on the last quest which just checks for what gender your V is, to determine if River will kiss you.

Talk about a lack of organic or natural.

I mean u tried panan with female v? It feel like a bit the same until Panama turn her down but the point isn't here they are better written but the mechanics of companions have sexual orientations.
