Monk Armor/Outfits

Hi, I'm playing as a monk and I am worried about the lack of "monk armor." I can't wear traditional armor due to its impact on my monks AC. But I don't want to wear ugly robes either. I was hoping that monks would get some type of martial arts gi 🥋 or something similar. I'm still in act 1, will my monk's options improve later in the game?

There is magical armor in the game that isn't heavy/medium/ or light. Some of it's very good.

That's great to know! I keep looking for items with the vendors but I've been SOL. Hopefully I'll run into something in act 2 then.

Other than the starter armour i've seen zero monk gear.. (also playing a monk)

Act 1 doesnt have monk gear, i think. Mb im wrong. But in act 2 and act 3 i found multiple pieces of monk gear. Some of it was sold by vendors other as a loot from gith and chests. Act 1 does have bracelets that give you 2 AC if your are without armor. Should be enough at first.

That's not good, and I really don't want to wear robes. But the alternative is playing in underwear and a cape which will definitely get me some weird looks from my family watching me play lol.

By monk gear do you mean clothing items other than robes?

Lots of monk gear appears past Act 1. I know I encountered a lot of stuff with unarmed modifiers and abilities etc

I have found a few monks gears that looks nice, but i dont like the one that i use (excelent stats tho), so i just use a funny (yet matching) outfit (Astarion is my monk)

And yes, those legendary gloves are neat as ♥♥♥♥, i wish it was possible to mesh the gloves with the outfit

yes. With specific bonuses for monk class.

My main is a monk and there is some VERY good monk gear especially towards late game but there's a few pieces in the early to mid as well.
