And ranged not throwing.
Damage increases by 1d6 for every uneven Rogue Level gained. So your table is correct. Number of dices double on a critical hit, there are some tadpole powers that allow you to transform any hit in a critical, which would translate in 12d6 at level 11, which is an average of 42 damage. You might want to take that.
Compared to fighters who can burst up to 240 dmg or make constant 175 dmg later on a rogue is a joke dmg wise.
But would there be a different damage multiplier if I use a shortsword over a dagger?
thx for the answers
Dagger Base: 1d4 Pierce
Shortsword: 1d6 Pierce
Dagger Sneak Attack: Base 1d4 Pierce + 2d6 Sneak Attack
Shortsword Sneak Attack: Base 1d6 Pierce + 2d6 Sneak Attack
Longswords are not Finesse. They Are Versatile, which means they can be wielded with one or two hands dealing either 1D8 or 1D10 Dmg.
Of the mentioned Finesse Weapons the Rapier is the highest Base Dmg with 1D8
(Dagger 1D4 and Shortsword 1D8)
That being said there is absolutely no difference for the sneak attack damage no matter what you wield out of the 3. There is no such thing as a Modifier by Weapons itself.
Yes your Sneak Attack Dmg Dice get more with higher Rogue Level.
Pure fighters are beastly.
How can a warrior make constant 175 damage???
Even with 4 attacks there is absolutely no way you can achieve 175 damage in 4 attacks (also, he said constantly, and as far as I know, action surge you can only use once)
I'm calling it bs.
