Multiple custom characters in solo revoked and it hurts!!

When I realised that you could open up the game multiple times just for character creator to create more than 1 custom character, save and then just play normally I was overjoyed.

However, I took too long planning my character trio, while keeping busy at work and playing the game in multiplayer. I went to finally do it now and noticed that they patched that out. Absolutely ruined... now I am forced to bother 2 friends to create the other 2 characters for me, to a very specific standard and when they have time at the same time. It's a nightmare.

One question: How is this not a thing?

I do appreciate that the origin characters are very well made and I do enjoy them, I would not even go as far as to be irritated by that there are only 6 because the game is HUGE. However... there are only 6, and say, I want to use a Barbarian and Wizard already so that now leaves me with 4, and there are 12 classes. There is just no way that I can do what I would like to do in this 'best sandbox game yet' before you suggest the undead guy's companions, whats the point? They will have very limited dialogue compared to the origin ones so I would be way better off just making my own at that point.

Think we will get a fix on this anytime soon?

I haven't tried it yet, but I thought you could customize Withers' hirelings to make them your fully customized party?

Shut off Steam, go to Baldur's Gate 3's file location and open .exe file multiple times from there.

The hirelings are pre-made characters, so you can't customize their appearence.

Listen here brother. Larian has tried to remove our Moradin given RIGHT to create DWARVEN ONLY parties, there is not a single dwarf that will aid you in your elf filled playthrough, they also removed the easy way which may fool beardlings into thinking you can't no more...but there's a trick:

1.Turn off steam.
2.Find the game exe (dx for dx and none for vulkan)
3.Open 3 tabs (you may want to reduce your graphics, specially resolution)
4.After loading in, use steam for the last 4th tabs.
5.Open a lobby on your main (steam).
6.Put it to lan.
7.Now look for a lan party in the multiplayer lan.
8.Join in with your tabs.
9.Create a party you wish (you won't be able to change companions, be warned).
10.When you all load in, remove the non-steam tabs, save.
11.Congratulations, you now have 4 dwarves ready to deal with all the disgusting pointy ears and their yellow colored cousins.
12.Enjoy grudging. Do not forget to go out of your way to shove the pointy ears around camp, hoard all the alcohol and yell angrily at whatever has no beard.
