Xp for pushing enemy's into pits?
I wasn't paying attention when I was fighting *high level enemy* but I had the great idea to shove them into the near by bottomless pit, and I didn't see the xp I had gained. Does anyone know if you get less xp for enemies killed by way of falling into oblivion? Or do you get the full benefits?

You do get xp, but you will lose out on loot they may have had on them.

Nope, no exp for physics kills. The spider boss fell off a net and died due to fall damage in my playthrough and I didn't get exp.

So if you aren't the direct cause of the fall, you won't get anything? But if its my physical hands, you do?

In my experience most anything that dies around you gives you experience regardless of who's action resulted in the death, if you are in combat with them. In fact some of the deaths are planned as a scenario (giant spider) so if you didn't get xp thay is pretty weird.
You can check the battle log lower right looks like a page click it and it pops open, press the + to expand it. You should see xp after any death. But again no loot so try not to push boss style or special enemies if you want their gear lol
