Feat choice: Shield Master vs Resilient (Dex)
Can't decide between these two. Resilient gets me an overall higher modifier for dex saving throws in general, but Shield Master has the potential to either halve or completely mitigate damage from spells that cause a dex saving throw. Which is overall more useful?

I'm playing Paladin, so I'll also have the saving throw boost from Aura of Protection as well.

Resilient also increases your dexterity by 1. Now stats are only useful in even numbers. On the other side shield master is useless if you don't use a shield. If you don't need the +1 and you use a shield go for shield master.

Well I'm definitely using a shield. If I wasn't, I would just go Great Weapon Master, and call it a day.

My build leaves me with an odd point at the end. So I was either going to drop it into dex and make it 13, then make it 14 with Resilient, or go 12 dex with Shield Master, and just put the odd point in Strength for a bit more carry weight.

Really? I feel like enemies try to grease, or web, or a bunch of other stuff that requires a dex save all the time.
