Question about act 2 (spoilers)

so I heard you could make thorm kill himself if you could find his wifes or daughters ( I dont know which) diary. But all i have found in the room was Letter to Ketheric. is that what I need to read or is that an item that you have to find before you start the siege.

Need to find his wife's letter to him. It's the one that wishes quite the contrary path to the one he took. You know you got the dialogue choice when you get one that mentions his wife when you encounter him atop the tower, though truthfully that isn't where the actual option to pull it off appears but will enable it a bit later.

Said letter *should* be either in the locked chest at his bedroom or beneath a wooden board with a perception check, I forget which.

Yeah i found it it was still there but i found it after i did the first battle with him so im going to go and try to fight him in the flayer colony and see if it still activates
