Control the Steel Watch?
Is there no way to wrestle control away? Is the only option to blow the factory?
I want an army of metal men fighting with me at the end haha

Well... Time to blow this joint, then.
Thats a few hours of my life trying to do everything stealthily/not kill the workers because I hoped I could take control of them and force the workers to keep building them.

At least I get the satisfaction of killing dozens of innocent gnomes and dooming their family's to a watery grave.
