How am i suposed to use "Speak with dead" on someone i killed?

Im in Zhentar basement and i well... i killed Zarys . She has option to use talk to dead on her, BUT i get answer "This corpse has something to tell... but not to his killer" (something like that).
Any tips what to do to talk to her? im trying to deal with it for past hour and no succes, every time i go to camp to get someone who wasnt in this fight her corpse will despawn.

In theory you could try to use a party member who didn't attack her. That probably won't work, but it's worth a shot.

I think that the intent, however, is that you can't chat with the ones you murdered. Which is a complete shame because at times I'd like to call 'em in for a chat and be like, yeah, how'd that go? Was it as good for you as it was for me?

Alas, such are the limitations of not having a live DM.
