And you don't want to use the massive AoE divine intervention in the Raph fight. Unless you want the caster to get turned to dust.

That power does help a lot - a good caster with AOE spells does some good too (or scrolls). Don't forget (or discount) throwables and elixirs either. If you have it, use it, genuinely. Drinking health potions is "only" a bonus action, and you can throw them too to remotely heal someone or get them up from being knocked out.
