after that, take the guy in the lamp and use the summon Qasit spell roll you can find in the lamp. when i did this, the trapped character was instantly ported out of the lamp. and dont forget the loot in the lamp ;)
From portal, perceive a hidden button and push it and proceed through the newly opened wall. Then, in the small bridge room, walk across an invisible platform to the wooden chest and through a non-solid wall behind the chest.
A lot more in the vault overall. There are 4 books, the lamp, and a great axe.
1 book in each of the locked vaults, (the one related to Necromancy of Thay), 1 book in a display case in the opposite direction from the locked vaults (where you enter if teleporting in from tower), 1 behind a illusionary wall behind a wooden chest in hall, the lamp behind another such wall and wooden chest (the other hallway), and the axe is behind the "illusion" labeled door (you have to destroy the door, rather than trying to go thru it).
I sent shovel in.
