WHAT? Astarion killed me? [SPOILERS]

I let him drink my blood only because he's one of the heroes, of course I wouldn't die there, so I let him drink and continue once, twice, then I passed out... Then in the morning I was dead? What? I tried using resurrection with other characters, but nothing, I died because I did Astarion a favour. What a douche!

than don´t let him suck too long and you will be fine.
i think you may cannot revive somebody who dies in a cutscene so load your last save again.

He does lose himself to blood-drunkeness.
You can be revived with a Scroll of Revivification. Just remmeber to select 'where' you wanna be revived after clicking your corpse so you don't think you've bugged it out for some reason.

And then be sure to talk to him afterwards so you can punch him in the face. He won't even disapprove because he knows what he did was bad, as him trying to hide behind a book all innocently shows.

You can still resurrect player characters. The most jarring part was that I died for him and he still wouldn't give up his vitamin D.

to be fair, "the heroes" include things like an unrepentant racial supremacist whose culture considers you her servants at best, a person who enthusiastically feeds souls to their mechanical heart without caring but then turns around and berates you if you do something bad, and astarion who literally needs to drink blood to survive

"the heroes" are all allies of convenience and in astarion's case he's dependent on a substance you just gave him access to and failed to convince him to stop before he took more than you could afford to give
