I recommend playing The bard's tale 4
And while we're on the subject of voices the game needs way more PC voice options. To me the current options only really sound right for elves, half-elves, and humans.
You can be racist against Dwarves, pigeonholing them into being Scottish only. Culture is not race or nationality.
Elves also technically have their roots in Norse mythology, but the way D&D handles them is more akin to the Celtic Fae, so based on that same reasoning Elves should have Scottish (or Irish) accents.
But honestly, any race can have any accent.
Now I'm wondering though, why that is. Like what is the fantasy origin of that. it has to go back at least 40 years, because that's how long I've had the expectation.
