Missing Items when "send to camp"

So, in an effort to make sure my MC can move with ease and not be burdened with a weight load, I have been sending my items to camp with "send to camp." I do not know why they do not show up in the "traveler's chest." Are they lost forever, or do I redo all the time I've played, because I can not recall when I did the organization?
Any insight would be appreciated, because I don't want to have a bad taste in my mouth about something I may have over looked. As far as I can tell, I can not find anyone else with this problem, just people who can't find the chest.

send to camp is bugged.
Ive sent hundreds of purple/blue and green items with "send to camp" but now it only shows likw 12 of the items i sent, like they over write what was there before, so it is bugged or useless

Travelers Chest is where all the items should be, but Larian released a buggy game(what a surprise lol).

Just consider them lost, or use cheatengine to spawn in whatever item you lost

Quite the update after just letting it go and just working around it, there is an item in act 2 that can give an aura of silence. After sending it to camp, it gives off that aura, but searching and sorting the chest didn't find it.
After trying it, other camps do allow me to access the items I've sent, so far it is available in the Shar temple's camp and in the underdark camp . Hope this helps anyone else that comes across this.

More updates:
I have been using the controller, because I play these games very relaxed, but switching to the keyboard shows everything.
