Doesn't matter much. I'm playing on tactician and sitting on 60-80 explosive barrels if i really had a hard encounter - which i didn't - and standing now before the endboss.

Its working fine for me. I dumped int and when I roll it gives the negative for the INT and then adds the bonus from the headband, So when i roll it shows a -1 for intelligence and then a +4 for the headband, totaling a +3 to the roll as should be expected with a 17 INT.

do you mean the spider boss in the well? such a hard boss imo
