Can you just kill NPCs you dont like?
Lot of complaining about the game being woke but how would that even be an issue if its possible to just kill the thing, right? Options are the spice of life.

So my question is, can you feasibly kill everyone, including party members, and still finish the games main goal or story? I expect increased difficulty or just losing the person as a resource, but how far can I go with it?

I have no idea if there is one or not. I'm doing my best to avoid spoilers. I've just been craving a good rpg and my options are limited. I figured I should ask before I pay full price for it.

Since there is a ressurect feature from wither, I assume they can "die" be it through your hand or an accident. Maybe you're short on money to ressurect them?

Maybe you play a paladin and can one hit verything?

I don't know... Just some thoughts I guess
You can also kill those you like too.

Yes you can kill them. Then you can hire hirelings from Withers who have zero personality and zero "woke agenda" (whatever the f**k that is). Sorry, I guess Withers is sort of a spoiler but I won't tell you how you can find Withers.

I mean, you'll be missing out on tons of content contained in companion stories. People are just upset that all the characters are attracted to the MC, no matter what. You can say no. You can shut down any of the romances pretty easily (in over 400 hours I have not once been in a romance I didn't intentionally want but what do I know? I'm just a woke snowflake). Oh and I guess the handful of same sex couples pisses people off. One IS kind of in your face but no more so than any hetero couple has been in every game ever since the dawn of rpgs.

I know! What's up with that?

Don't get me wrong, I love the current companions but not a single short race?

Yeah the original saga had many shorties across both games and both expansions. It's pretty sad shorties aren't represented.

I went dark gnome my hirelings are halfling, gnome and dark dwarf. Hello advantage on int wis char saving throws.

You can murder pretty much anyone you want in BG3 and the game keeps going, go for it.

No one eats a full butterfinger. Only snack sizes.

No, not really. If you kill someone they're gone, which make sense. They're dead.

Nope. You're out of luck. Woke or broke.

Ok thx !

I watched an evil play through where the party is starving mid Act 2. No one to buy supplies from and food is hard to find in cursed lands.

You can go full on murder-hobo, but not as a clueless noob. Otherwise you'll be rage-quitting.

Game's not woke, sure the odd bit pokes through but not more than brief irritant.
