VISION of the ABSOLUTE Spear (worth using)??

I have both pieces and joined them...
Anyone else using it, and is it worth it?

I researched it because I didn't know how to combine them (https://baldursgate3.wiki.fextralife.com/Vision+of+the+Absolute)
but that doesn't give a comparison to other weapons...
Have yet to encounter critters that require magic weapons to damage (Like a wight, or similar critter)
{SIDE NOTE >>> Undead seem to be rather limited in ACT 1 [which I haven't progressed past yet] other than the lich in the camp "Wither", and the skeletons in the chapel... I always remembered lesser undead to be almost common in AD&D games}

I mean, it's specifically for dealing an extra 2d6 to enemies with multiple sets of eyes. So, yeah, use it on spiders?

It's a one-off for killing enemies with more than a pair of eyes.
