The real issue with all the flirting

I don't care, gay, straight whatever. My biggest problem with flirting in this game is you either flirt back leading to the sex scene, or you say something hateful. There is no platonic relationship allowed.

I said it in my review, but I remember as a DM when I was 15, running a bunch of 15 year old boys, the campaign was along the same maturity level. The way these parts were designed feel like a teenage boy was in charge of the story.

Are we playing the same game? My character got together with Karlach very early, which restricts any other romance very heavily. So for your logic to work, I wouldn't be able to form any platonic relationship with other characters, but I have. Gale confided me his deepest fears and Shadowheart sees me as her biggest friend and ally because I was there when she lived through her darkest chapter.

Karlach encourages you to sleep around for all of Act 1. Don't lie.

If you already have a relationship with someone most companions back off and become more platonic, unless you are Halsin or Astarion, cuz they just be like that apparently. I don't know what happens if you decide to pursue none at all, i shared a bottle with shadowheart who made it clear in dialogue that it was purely platonic as i seemed interested in another that felt pretty fair to me.

Yeah,, no, you can have platonic ones.. normally there is a scene with gale gazing at the stars that mostly leads to sex, but because im romancing shadowheart and recused his advances other times, this scene didnt have any way to have sex and was like a confidant bro's talk to get him out of his depressed state

It's entirely possible to have a platonic friendship with the other characters that you don't want to romance.

It's true that there is no "gentle" want to rebuff their flirting, most of the lines are REALLY hurtful, but the characters seems to take them ok and after that they remain friendly with the mc and MOST of them don't try it again, but a couple of them are REALLY thirsty and try it multiple times.

It just feels like a contrived excuse to put sex in a game and scream "LOOK HOW EDGY I AM" rather than being a product of writing. Cheap sex feels more useless in games than it does IRL.

i have the feeling that most of the people complaining, are not able to see what is "bad" and what is "flirty"... i can understand gale, i thought i get a cool new ability, like see invisible as someone said he can heal me.... but the rest?

The whole game feels like fanfic written by a 16-year old girl, with her immature and clumsy view of both high fantasy and relationships.

This isnt real though, its dungeons and dragons where outcomes are based on dice
