Spell "day light" does not last till next long rest

On the spell "day light" it says it lasts till next long rest when actually it only lasts for 20 turns, anybody know why?
I'd like to enchant my crown with day light so I don't have to have a torch in my hand, it doesn't work and the spell wears off after 20 turns. It's a 3rd lvl spell that does the same as a cantrip for a bigger area and wears off?

Yeah just ran into the same nasty surprise after rejiggering shadowheart for this spell, only for it to run out while I was looking at the settings menu

Just ran into the same bug. Very annoying after redoing Shadowheart's spells so I had this memorized

Ye, but if you enchant your weapon with it it'll last a whole day

You have to cast it on yourself, casting it directly on an item seems to give it turns but if you swap weapons alot don't put it on that character cuz it binds it to a weapon when you just select yourself. We put it on our cleric.

It was like that just once, but after a long rest it lasts about 30 sec.
