Hardcore mode?

You can. Only load from one save and don't resurrect dead companions.

Im with OP, and yes you can choose to accept choices and not reload saves etc. in a proper hardcore or ironman mode you would have achievements and maybe some particular gameplay tweaks for it. Maybe leaderboards or a chronicle at the end of each run. The paradox games like crusader kings and stellaris and victoria do this well. I think it would fit well here as an option.

You better not do that unless you know the game extremely well.

Not going to spoil, but some actions and choices are instant party wipe and you cannot do anything about it.

I doubt a Honor mode would be added as long as the multiplayer issue isn't fixed. Once a player joined, the character they created is stuck with the party forever. If that was in honor mode (with only one save), your run would be ruined for good.

You can change the session settings and set who is allowed to join your game.

You can disable multiplayer all together your know. I dk why even people have those problems when they play solo or with a friend.

Yeah I think multiplayer needs a lot of work done, it seems undercooked. But that is the sort of thing Swen has said they would be working on as opposed to an expansion. Multiplayer support and mod support.

And there probably will not be. This game made for coop with someone you can talk to with micro. Same was with DO2
