Too much blood...

On my characters or NPC... even Rolan who may have fighted the shadow a bit in act 2. still have blood on his face in act 3 when I found it wtf...

it will be nice to have blood turn off on characters as option. it kinda ruined cinematic scene quite a bit when your characters always look like someone haven't taken a shower for years

I wish to echo what jk2l says.

I love BG3. I think it is better than DOS2 because its so much fun. I really mean that.

If my memory hasn't failed me, DOS2 had an option to reduce the blood and gore, so I know that we can have the same option in BG3. Larian did it before.

We need it it BG3. I'm in Act 2 and I really want to progress onward and finish the game, but I must say the blood during combat is ridiculously excessive.

According to a 2020 article Trusted Source, there are around 10.5 pints (5 liters) of blood in the average human adult body, although this will vary depending on various factors. During pregnancy, a woman may have up to 50% more blood.

The average quantities of blood are::

about 9 pints (4.3 liters) of blood in an average-sized female (5 feet 5 inches tall and weighing 165 pounds)

about 12.2 pints (5.7 l) in an average-sized male (6 feet in height and weighing 200 pounds)

in an infant, about 1.2 fluid ounces (fl oz) for every pound of body weight (75 – 80 milliliters (ml) of blood per kilogram).

in a child, about 1–1.2 fl oz for every pound of body weight (70–75 ml of blood per kg)

As a first responding EMT/firefighter I've been on calls for shootings, stabbings, and horrific auto accidents. I've seen more blood than I care to remember.

Playing BG3 is my escape and I do not stop playing it. This game has what looks to be gallons of blood everywhere. Its way, way too much.

I know others like the blood, but give us a gameplay option to turn it off or way down. I also know there is a no blood and dirt MOD, but the zip file doesn't work.


Please Larian, give us the option to have no blood during combat.
