Don't romance Minthara

I started to romance Lae'zel, but I broke up with her after Minthara came into the story, then it has turned out romance of Minthara is unfinished mess. I feel scammed by Larian now.
(at least don't try to romance only her)

Yeah it's really disappointing. Hopefully she doesn't have any content due to bugs, otherwise I doubt Larian will ever expand on her.

According to data-miners, there's supposedly references to more Minthara story content but you can't seem to access it in the game.

So either it's super bugged and somehow no one on the dev team did a Minthara run, or it was purposefully deactivated for the final release.

I would like to see Larian respond with a definitve statement about what's going on. And if the reason is that they did remove it, then their focus(aside from bug fixes) should be restoring that content. I'd also like to see them let good characters romance her. Obviously make it harder than the evil route though.

It's completely obvious they put more effort into the romances most people would most likely choose. It's a statistics game. MOST people who play this game will only play it once. MOST people who play this game will romance either Shadowheart or Lae'zel (or Karlach, if they find her).

The quality of the romances are directly proportional to how likely they are to be experienced by players.

Most people, I would predict greater than 90% of players even, on their first playthrough will completely miss that Minthara can even be recruited. The reduced quality of writing of her romance arc is therefore not surprising at all.

One of the reasons that the Tali romance was so good in Mass Effect is because the devs predicted she would be a popular option given the kind of people who play sci-fi games. They put most of the writing work into Ashley (huge number of players, i.e. gameplay andies, just go with the "default"), then Tali, then everyone else. That's what made the lazy finish to that romance story so confusing. All that work into Tali and then they used a stock photograph as a "face reveal" for her. People were rightfully mad and the devs were rightfully ashamed, although they barely did anything to fix it (apparently the decision to reveal her face was made very late in the dev cycle and no one had actually finalized what the Quarians were supposed to even look like under their masks).

I think we need a medical study done on the people who romance laezel, they clearly belong to a very unique demographic

I did, out of sheer stupid curiosity.
It happened SO early and so quickly into the story I had a hard time believing it.
I mean, she was being an absolute B the entire time, then suddenly "I WANNA SMASH".

I pumped and dumped though.
Green and mean just isnt my thing.

Can I both romance Minthara and Shadowheart? Just finished Act 1 on my second playthrough and I don't want to lose Shadowheart. I know Minthara romance doesn't exist, only one scene if my google-fu is correct, and Shadowheart has actual romance.

Minthara and Karlarch had most of their endings cut out entirely for time. Minthara got the worst of it to be honest.

the fact they let us bang a bear and even an illithid makes it that much more disappointing we can't get our gobbo on
