sneaking mean sh... in BG3, so do sneakattacks, so do knockouts, so why even bother, obviously Larian want us to spill blood wherever we come. Or it is a bug. Either way, does not speak much about such a "great game".
for so many quests if you don't do things a certain way quest just doesnt work or breaks lol
I'm not sure if you know but you can only knock people out using melee weapons using spells or ranged weapons, they will die even if the toggle is on
Unless the game explicitly tells you to use non-lethal approaches, expect that the game will treat the person as dead.
If you do not want someone to die, do not attack them.
