Why this game deserved a negative review.

The game is a mess, and unfortunately nowhere close to being the almost perfect masterpiece that DOS2 is.

Act 1 is great, act 2 starts of interesting, but it soon becomes a place that i just want to escape from. Act 3 i haven't played but from what i hear it's very poorly optimized and not that good.

The Combat is great at first but it starts to become apparant that the ruleset is very shallow, and i haven't played a crpg where character builds has less depth.

For the lack of a better term i will say that the level of "wokeness" in this game is absurd i have never seen anything quite like it. When you are this focused on including you own political views in a project like a movie or game, it usually comes at the cost of good writing, interesting characters, believable relationships and worldbuilding, and i still can't think of a project where that sacrifice was worth it.

I like gay people, trans people, women, in general i just like good people, and it doesn't matter who they choose to have consensual sex with. But i do not enjoy when other men are flirting with me, and i don't think that is wrong, in fact it feels like a natural thing that is hardcoded into my dna. In real life this is not a problem because gay people are just as intelligent as everyone else and generally possess the social skills to not make any unwanted advances, but in this game the companions have the social skills of a brick wall, and they just can't help themselves to not make me feel uncomfortable. In the end this is either a result of incompetence or a political agenda, i don't know which it is, i just know that it's bad.

I give this a negative review, because the combat while great as first becomes a bit repetitive, and this is a major problem when the character builds have very limited depth. When playing a game i just want to have fun and for a moment escape my stressful life, i don't want to be reminded of a stupid and pointless culture war, so ultimately i didn't get the kind of product that i wanted.

At the end of act 2 i have seen enough to know that i don't want to play this anymore, instead it gave me a great desire to reinstall and play Pathfinder WoTR, a game that is just superior in all the aspects that i find important in a crpg.

Same, because i have a lot more choices there. The story is more interesting, and Eyeless Mistress(Minagho) is one of the best and quite well written evil character i have ever seen.
I also enjoy how you start to learn things about one of your possible companions, and can have your suspicions because....her allignement is hidden.
I actually wish to purchase the second season pass and then it is go time, and this time i intend to finish it:D

The game itself was moved a month forward in desperation. Any other game would get bad reviews.

We already had 4 hotfixes if you count 2.1 that was fixing the destruction of your save games. Multiple game stopping bugs depending on your paths are still there. Situations where you have to save/reload to try progress and so on.

It honestly feels like the same excuse making that a happened for CP2077.

Never has it been more apparent that gaming is an addiction, as so many gamers choose not to see how rushed this game is.

How would you know? I spent almost 50 hours in the game, and i am still in act 2.
