Early access? I purchased this game!!!

I just got to a point in the game where it told me the game had finished the early access. I wondered why there was the text "Early access" plastered all over cut scenes but I thought it meant the version I was playing. I paid for the official game in Steam... What is going on!?

Did you delete your early access and download the full release as they stated to so before the game launched?

Sounds like you didn't do a fresh install of the game and some of the files have bugged out.

There are several possibilities:
- You did not read and follow the instructions to switch from EA to full release.
- You are playing on a mac, where the release is in september.

Its understandable you missed it, you literally need to uninstall the game and delete the saves (the saves part you maybe can get away with just dont use them, but to be safe delete them). This happens with many early access games going to a new patch if its big.

They did make this VERY clear if you looked at any of their social media and or steams game page. Or hell watched any youtuber talking about it.

Nah this is any early access game updating to a big early access patch and or full release. 7 days to die gets filed messed up sometimes if you dont delete the game fully, and just update it. Game may be a little buggy true, but it was not half asses out the door, this is a general issue devs just no matter what as of right now. Updating tons of game changing files, and hoping every file gets updated... Thats just a high risk of a file being ♥♥♥♥♥♥, or missed entirely.

Quite the hot take to not be willing to admit responsibility. Perhaps you will get more sympathy if you don't blame someone else for something you couldn't be bothered to do

This there were instructions released that said if you had downloaded the game during EA to uninstall it, delete your save files, and reinstall the game and start a new game.
