My microphone audio is choppy when playing multiplayer
...but only when I'm in the game. If I alt-tab out of the game, my microphone audio is apparently completely fine.

I have a reasonably powerful system. Ryzen 5 5600, RTX 3070. Not top-of-the-line, but beefy enough that my hardware shouldn't be the cause of the problem.

This happens if I'm using Steam or Signal or Discord for the voice call. Any ideas?

EDIT: Solved. Turned out to by my headset's software's (Corsair iCue) "noise removal" feature. Disabled it and the problem went away, even when using Nvidia Broadcast.

Not sure but i've had a couple of crashes i've started to believe are related to discord. Esp when one of them crashed discord at the exact same time the game crashed.

Fart into the mic, it clears the wires from dust.
