Baldurs Gate 3 is one of the worst games i've played and it's not even funny!

Visually, Baldur's Gate 3 fails to impress. In an era where stunning graphics are the norm, this game's visuals are a throwback to a bygone era. The character models lack the detail and nuance seen in other contemporary RPGs, and the environments feel uninspired and bland. It's as if the developers intentionally avoided pushing the boundaries of graphical fidelity.

I can't even believe so many people are loving this game, makes me think that the community got a lot of paid trolls to post positive news and reviews to create an illusion of success. Well i won't bite and i actually just told you today how bad this game is.

Okay, I'm just gonna say it. All these people who "say" they absolutely loved Baldur's gate 1 and 2 apparently, don't understand that that game was turn-based as well. The Turns were hidden but there was a setting you could go to where at the end of every combat round the game would pause, so you could issue orders to your characters for the next round if you wanted to play that way.

I loved BG1 and BG2. BG2 was probably my favorite game of all time. I had probably every bit of 500 hours in that game playing like 5-7 runs all the way through. I bought the enhanced edition on Steam and Beamdog, including SoD. I even bought the game for more than a few of my friends and we played multiplayer with all of its myriad of flaws. I have over 500 hours of BG1 EE on steam as of right now.

That being Said, all these people hating on the turn-based are nuts. I very much enjoy BG3. Much less cheesing of the game like there was in BG1 and BG2. (not to say you can't still do some cheese but still)

Those saying the story sucks, I disagree. Is it as good a story as BG2 was? I don't think so, but it doesn't have to be.

Graphically it is good. Not the best graphics of all time but good. The setting and lore stuff is all there. This feels like Faerun to me.

Is it exactly Baldur's Gate 2 with better graphics and a better version of the same engine and game mechanics? No, but it never had to be. It's been over 20 years. I don't understand why people are expecting the same thing, just because its named BG3. Many games do this where they change the playstyle or the engine that the game originally had. There are many references to the events of BG1 and BG2. There are even call backs to some characters some of which make appearances.

To all the naysayers this game is Baldur's Gate 3.... it's not Baldur's Gate 1 its not Baldur's Gate 2... if you want a Baldur's Gate 3 that is whatever you think it should be then go make that game.

Maybe you don't like 5e rules? For me Solasta and BG3 made a perfect 5e fighting simulation! Normally I dont like turn based CRPG, but I love it in both games, because they're doing a perfect job!
