Busker Achievement

It says to collect 100 gold while playing a musical in a single playthrough. I have collected just 5 by now at the end of Act 1.

Without any spoilers, can anyone let me know some place name where it can be achieved faster in Acts 2 & 3 ?

In Act 1 you could play for emerald grove lower and upper floors for a good bit of gold, then go to the goblin camp and play at the front gate, in the outer courtyard and then inner courtyard. For Act 2, the last light inn and the moonrise towers. Act 3, the entire city is free game to play. The achievement seems bugged though and might only count gold given to the bard class.

I was playing every time I saw a group of NPC's got 5-8 gold per performance. Ended up getting the achievement early in act 3.

Once your start playing I believe you need to succeed the performance roll to be able to be tipped.

I'm not sure how long you need yo play for to get tipped though

That's the thing,
I just noticed that achievement after completing Act 1 (So there is no one in emerald grove and goblin camp coz either they left or dead)

I'll see what I can do in Act 2 now

And yes, I am a BARD

I got it done in 20-30 minutes in Act 3, saved to multiclass bard then rolled back after it popped. Simple guide here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eLZI6w4uLT4

I'm doing exactly what you're doing in the video, people do drop gold but my achievement progress doesn't advance when I pick up the gold they drop. It worked a bit in other acts so I'm at 14/100 on the steam achievement page but even when they drop gold now and I pick it up it stays at 14/100 always.

just succeed on a performance check and at least one member of the crowd you play for give you gold. so just play in areas where there is a bunch of people.

I do succeed the check, and people do drop gold, but the gold doesn't seem to count towards the achievement. My character is a paladin/bard.

this is the post I came looking for.. I think that if someone already tipped you, it won't count their gold?? but that's what I was looking for in the discussions here so i could be wrong..

In camp, in groove, every where any npc that can chat you have a chance to be awesome or crap, and you have that busker down before even halfway through act1.
