The game is balanced around the fact that you will miss sometimes. You don't need to hit every shot to win. The enemy will miss too. If you're reloading because you're missing a lot, you're playing the game wrong and need to rethink your tactics.

Also, 60% hit chance is pretty normal for my cleric since she's not good at combat. She still hits plenty of times. I've never felt the need to reload because she's failing to hit some of her spells and wasting the spell slot. You just roll with the punches. It's perfectly doable unless you're screwing up big time.
if you dont learn use items what you have you never will learn not to miss
an bottle of wather or an cheese can make more damage us your best weopen or your best spell in many sitiations
look around what are near to use and look what the mobs have resist
example you hit an mob with an arow and get an miss or one damage you hate it
but if you use the same arow and hit an barell or an light on the top and the barell explode or the ligth fall on the mobs and make 20 damage on 1 or more mobs
or an low level spell where alle mobs fall down befor you start figth and and and

and that is what larian say you can kill mobs with your brain and all is allowed what your brain can thinking

i saw so many streams and so many ways to kill mobs and i thinking that cant work and then i see it on stream OMG it worked

Just think of a miss as a "glancing blow" or a "absorbed blow" They should of just renamed miss to something like the above to "simulate" a weak attack/glanced blow/ or whatever else other then miss.... Miss should be more for ranged/magic users while the aboves could be more in line with melee

i regularly have an 85% to hit with advantage and i will maybe hit once out of 5 attacks....at best.

Are you just looking for a flood of "git gud", "scil ishue", "ura baddie", etc. responses? Because that's all you're going to receive here.

I've been noticing a lot of whiffs at high % w/advantage as well. Feels like Karmic Dice never actually turns off when you disable it.

IKR dnd is primitive and shouldn't have needed to be implemented in the game. It's laughable how people are defending this crap.

The whole concept of what dnd is just flew over your head

You shouldn't be missing that much, its probably worth checking out some guides on how the combat system works in D&D and how to build combat effective characters.
These builds are only effective after lvl8?
So you are telling me i have to suffer a crappy ineffective build half of the game?
It's pure cancer and annoying.
I think you maybe quoted the wrong person. I never said anything about needing to be level 8, nor is it true. Characters can be effective right from the start, but really get going around level 3.

I have missed three times in a row on a fighter before. I had a 70% chance to hit. You can just get unlucky. I have also failed rolls with +10 on the roll (needed a 15 and rolled a 2) You can just have bad luck. I think that is part of DnD.

So in combat I don't reload the save till everyone is dead. Sometimes that means a long rest after a run of bad luck. It is what it is. I think it makes the adventure more interesting though.

Wait. The kid who trolled into someone else's thread, offering nothing productive or meaningful is calling someone a troll? REALLY?

You are literally the textbook definition of troll dummy.

Boring copied from bg 1+2 combat made 'hard' with low hit chance.
This why elder scrolls series will always be superior.
