My main character doesn't have tadpole powers, only Astarion has....And I currently side with "not using the powers"....
Why is it that when I talk to Karlach about tadpoles I am unwillingly pushed towards persuading her to use the powers...
There's no "leave dialogue" option, no agreeing with her about not using the powers...
Is this a bug?
This is a massive game design flaw since in reality you would fight on, they see you use your powers, there should at least be 2 or 3 more times before the end where you can try and convince them. Yes yes, you can save-cheese it, well done Sherlock, I meant it's bad design because game should allow you to re-try it without scumming.
Bad bad design. Anyway, no-tad-pole run coming up next :)
Instead, get her into your party and go to the tadpole screen. She will be hesitant as well, but when you talk to her afterwards you get the persuasion option.
If you succeed, she will no longer be hesitant.
