Why LGBT exists is because we're not a mythical creature. RPGs are often tools for people to escapism in whatever role they want and gay people usually like to play as a gay person. Its not some conspiracy its called accepting reality
It is not. There is hardly any LGBT stuff in the game. There is some but all of it is avoidable.
I have nothing against lgbt people, but its quite excessive how they need to feel represented in everything that exist :p
I love my gay and trans friends, but even they think its excessive. They actually avoid the community for its cult like obsessiveness.
I play male characters, female characters and animal characters. It's not because I'm a cross dressing furry, it's because identifying as the main character is not important.
Like you said, it's an escape from reality. What's the point of your going to make it your reality?
The answer to your question is -- everybody ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ everybody is a D&D trope since the game has historically been played by horny teenagers and ppl who don't socialize well.
The game doesn't pretend that same-sex relations and trans people don't exist.
Deal.
The same reason heterosexual men play heterosexual men trying to collect a harem of women
I disagree and agree
I disagree BG3 is excessive I have yet encountered gay npcs beyond Asterion. I do agree mandatory diversity quotas are often bad
I mean I try to do the same thing, but I'm not allowed to escape anymore lol.
