daredevil gloves?

Hi Guys any idea what it does?
I got it and no idea whats the difference between elee and ranged..
perhaps ignore height penalty if you are lower than target?

The main benefit is that you don't suffer the penalty with a ranged spell if they're too close, or you can attack a distanced target without the penalty for being threatened. e.g. you can now melee Eldritch Blast without a lower hit rate.

I'm sure there are other fringe benefits as well.
