Stop being bad at being your paladin oath I guess?

Specify which Oath. They conditions for breaking your oath does depend on which of the Oaths you follow.

Oath of Vengeance would be a go

Oof, that's a hard one.

I've only found one place to break my oath of vengeance so far in my paladin playthrough (and it was in act 1). I'm sure there are more places, but i do not know of them. Sorry.

Hopefully some one else has the answer you seek.

.
SPOILERS BELOW:

In Act 2 as OoV Paladin, I can confirm two area's in which you can break your oath. Both events happen via dialogue. One through a quest, and one at the moonrise towers.

Quest: During the "Punish the Wicked" quest, I'm not sure if all dialogue paths will lead to this option, but you can tell Madeline to stab herself to atone for getting her friend's killed by the absolutist cult. She will prepare to stab herself, and you will get another dialogue option telling her to stop, the fact she was willing to do it is good enough for you. As far as I can tell, you telling her to stab herself and then showing mercy breaks the oath of vengeance because you back pedaled from a vengeful choice to a merciful one.

Location Moonrise Tower : In the kitchens of the moonrise tower, you can talk to the cook who uses her tadpole powers to control some Gnolls. My deepest apologies, I cannot remember the dialogue options that lead to breaking the oath, but it is a pretty short encounter so if you really want to break the oath, you can save scum your way through it in probably 2-5 minutes depending on your PC load times and such

I know this is a pretty late reply, but this is more for people stumbling upon this post on google like I did, looking for additional ways to break the oath of vengeance in Act 2.

Read the book with your oath you got at the start of the game then do the opposite of that oath.

If you're oath of ancients, then stab the eyeless guy on the surgeon's table in the house of healing. You'll break your oath right then and there.

Exactly as you said it man, I tried the other options (also Oath of Vengeance) and it only seems to break your oath upon the options you suggested. Thanks a bunch for the insight :)

Just got Minthara to break her oath at Moonrise tower . In order to do this I had the cook get the gnoll to dance and then reinforced her will upon it when it started to break free. Severing the connection does nothing, but when I helped get the gnoll back under control I got the oathbreaker.

So, a Paladin can become an Oathbreaker by breaking their Oath.

The one time I played Oath of Vengeance, I turned Oathbreaker when I rescued Lae'Zel. Since then, I always choose Oath of Devotion. I have an easier time following it.

I found the option I needed, I helped in the tavern to defeat Raphael in chess Mole, after that I went up to talk to her, first chose the option of Persuasion then Paladin, after that again Persuasion and in the end I chose “Ha! Ambition, I like this.” After that, the cut scene worked
