So the great dingus appears to have walked out of the protective circle for NO REASON and’s is now a shadow zombie. Any fix for this or am I reverting back several saves??

He never left the area for me at all, always standing in his barn.

Did he die after you talked to Isobel, maybe?

Had that with the trader woman there. Teleported to Last Light and was gone. When i was walking outside, she was on the end of that bridge as a cursed undead. Was pretty unfortunate.

I've never seen any npc wander outside the protective shield in Last Light myself, it's kind of interesting "emergent gameplay" or whatever you'd call it, but at the same time I'd be really damn miffed if a quest-important npc like Dammon got randomly zombified because of random (buggy) behaviour.

This happened to me just now. My conjured pet scared him and he ran into the mist and turned hostile. Had to load an earlier save and dismiss them before coming into town. Quite frustrating as I lost about 2 hours of gameplay, but....who knows what role he may play with Karlach's storyline, or what juicy loot he'd sell once i make it to baldur's gate, if he's even there..

Tried using a teleport scroll to bring him back into the light and "cleanse" him. Tried "removing curse", tried knocking him out with passive unarmed....none of these things worked. Gotta just reload...

Happened to me with a vendor I had 100 attitude with.

Do you have any minions or spider familiars? That's what it was in my case. I was running Gale as a necromancer and npc's would constantly run away from his minions. One day I went back to sell at the quartermaster in front of the Inn and she was gone. I was confused but kept playing.

I Eventually went back outside the dome and found her outside as an undead...no clue when it happened.

Gale is now a sorcerer.

dammon never even showed up at light's inn for me.
(i read it's because i killed some weird ox)

i still hope i will see him in baldur's gate but idk.
