If your playing the game with that mindset your playing it wrong. Lots of other games to concentrate on XP and loot. Go play POE instead or D4. The game is about the stories , exploration and learning. The more of the story you skip the less of the story will open up for you to see . Skip the underdark and you skip an important area of the game and skip the whole Adamantine Forge and the chance to forge some amazing gear . Do what you want in the end, its your money to waste.

you can do both and then after that choose if you wanna go underdark or mountain pass and also the best way to get loot and exp and on top of that you get all the stories and quests

All I know is that the Underdark is pretty cool.

You can do both if you so desire, but if you only want to do one, the Underdark objectively way better, at least in the terms of loot, although I suspect it has significantly more XP as well.

Didn't know i could do both =) So how do i know the point of "no return"? I don't want to miss out on the other path.

I did underdark the first time I played...did not know you could do both! I will do both on my second playthrough I think.

You can go one path and then return and check out the other area, you will not be locked out.

Leaving the Wilderness/Underdark map for Rosemoryn or Grymforge will prevent you from resolving the Grove situation if you haven't solved it already, as well as Karlach's personal quest by extension.

Leaving Rosemoryn/Grymforge for the next area will make Halsin unrecruitable, and will make the True Souls leave the Goblin Camp.

As far as I'm aware, these are the only consequences. You can freely fast travel between maps, and those are the only "timed" quests in the early game, to my knowledge. For everything else, you're free to return no matter how far you are into the game.

Ah ok. Is one of them "easier" with lvl 5 and onwards to do first?

I prefer the over, but the under is cool too. If you follow all the quest, you will do both anyways.
