There is a difference for situations ...... decision or fate/luck/Skill
Remember...you PLAY a Character...but you ARE not the Character. So you always have to deal with a lot of things you can not directly influence because some things are based on you race, class and so on....
Actually, only game(s) I cann call up where you could do it was Ultima Online on free/open RP Shards. So if you prefer that way of playstyle, grab one of those games
The struggle against the Darkness.
This game feels like full of chaos and anarchy. Anything and anyone can be anything and anyone. What's the purpose of that?
You can steer people people towards becoming better though. As long as you go follow a good path the characters end up lightening up a lot, to an extend that feels very human. Even those that do appear more evil have some redeeming qualities, by the end i was more than satisfied.

You can get as immersive as you want in the Forgotten Realm. There are many book series about the world, about its races.
Some important major cities and smaller settlements of Baldur's Gate, Icewind Dale, Neverwinter, Waterdeep, Candlekeep.
Here is some info on the Sword Coast:

A lot of modern woke/liberal media struggles to represent goodness. Even their heroes are often unlikable - you see that a lot with modern female heroes in TV and movies and games - one actress even had it happen twice, in a game (Forspoken) and on TV (Resident Evil). Quite an interesting and revealing phenomenon.
I think it may be because a lot of modern people tend to think they're really good for superficial reasons, like their gender, sexuality or skin colour, but in reality aren't really good people at all (because that actually requires hard work and a real set of morals and values) and it comes out in their writing.
and you don't help the druids, you help the tiefling refugees to safely leave the safety of the grove
they even removed the alignment wheel for obvious reasons
maybe get the story right before you ♥♥♥♥♥ about it
also really weird that you needed to be shown that a pretty dream character is possibly trying to make you use the powers so they can use you as a tool
I was thinking that from the start
TF are you so angry about?
