Shoot the bottom of the cage with arrows or spell.

The cage early on?

Destroy the cage. As Djayc85 said, you can just target and destroy it.

I left her in there cuz she was rude AF. no idea what happens to her after that though.

That is definitely something I wonder about myself. What happens to the party members if you never recruit them. Do you meet them again somehow? Do they show up somewhere?

I was thinking maybe she'd show up at camp or something but there's been no sign of her haha
