Timmask Spores

What if someone used its timmask spores to craft instead of using them for the flayer quest ? Asking for a friend.
( Is there another location than the arcane tower basement ? )

I screwed myself in this exact same way. I just happened to destroy all of the adult timmask pods in the underdark and explored the Arcane Tower before getting the flayer quest in the myconid village.

I found a new crafting ingredient in the tower - Timmask Spores, and immediately used them to make the tadpole elixir. Then got the quest and ♥♥♥♥ my pants because there is no way for me to find more spores.

But this game is so massive that there’s no way to do it all in a single play through i guess. I won’t forget next time though.

accidentally found ingridients in grymforge. Stonemason Kith trading them

You can pick them up from destroying timmask mushrooms, if you are quick and make a save vs the confusion mist.
