BG3 is the Rocky Horror Picture show as an RPG

In general RPGs annoy me that force romances but usually I just igrnore them. But BG3 is like a sex simulator. There was a point during the game where everyone wanted to bang me the same night. It really got annoying. And everyone is running around like they are into SM stuff. It looks like the Rocky Horror Picture Show and really hurt my playing experience. I actually was looking for a way to remove everyone from the party and play with hirlings but that doesn't work unfortunately. If others take a liking to it good for them, I got really annoyed with it.

And yes, the game must have been inspired by it, there's no question.

I might actually create a new character called Dr. Frank N. Furter - then it would actually make sense. But I am more worried about my party members dying of STDs than the larva stuff.

In 3rd edition there was an optional compendium that included rules for STDs.

It saddens me that people get worked up or are getting paid to promote intolerance about choices they don't need to make and about events that don't have to happen in their game or play through.

You don't have to romance anyone, you are not forced into gender choices or attraction choices that you do not yourself choose, but there are choices and options for those things those that want to explore them.

As someone who played the first two when they came out, I am actually thankful Larian made this new edition of the Baldur's Gate series. I look forward to a future DLC that takes us all the way to level 20 with more and more choices, that have consequences and change the world, as well as explores people and all their differences.

My only real complaint is the large simplification in many areas between Early Access and Release, I hope some of the other depth comes back.

You can make your own custom companions, it makes the game a much more pleasent experience. I use two custom ones and Karlach and it has been very fun so far.

Where did I complain about any character choices? I don’t care about that. Are you serious?

By the way. A quote from Kotaku which is very much pro LGBTQIA+: "Speaking of Baldur’s Gate 3, last night I ran into a situation where nearly my entire camp wanted to ♥♥♥♥ me. And I realized that, oh...these are just empty NPCs who don’t care about who you are and it took me out of the game in a big way." I am following the same train of thought and ran into the same problem regarding my playing experience.
