1 in 400 is just the odds of getting 2 out of 2. the odds of getting two 1's out of a hundred rolls are much higher.
Not only that but there is multiple ways to count "1's in a row". There is the literal example where you take all dice into account, but also rolls made by one specific character, one specific player, just the good guy's dice, Just attack rolls, just saving throws, just skill checks, just a specific skill (like deception) checks.
suddenly there are dozens of ways to count "1's in a row" being hand picked out of a sequence of hundreds of dice.
The odds are not 1 in 400. they are much much higher than that.
I am now an oathbreaker for defending myself, couldn't have asked for better luck.
10 out of ten.
roll fails? my highest was 8 on a locked chest that was pretty average difficulty.
5 in pathfinder wrath of the rightious.
4. Burned through all of the inspiration dice I had.
In this game I don't think I've ever comboed ones myself, but I've seen enemies get double nat 1s.
I did get a nat 1 in a DC 2 wisdom check though.
