Kill Two Birds with One Gnome Achievement?

It claims that you have to use an enemy as an improvised weapon against another, but I must be doing something wrong. I used Karlach and performed the improvised melee weapon action while raged in multiple combinations and the achievement won't unlock.
I've . . .
- grabbed an alive enemy and hit another alive enemy (both lived)
- grabbed a dead enemy and hit an alive enemy (lived)
- grabbed a dead enemy and hit an enemy (killed)
- grabbed an alive enemy and hit another enemy (both died)

So, I am asking if I am missing some crucial information about this achievement, as if I'm just doing it wrong, or is it bugged?

A lot of the achievements are bugged. Most of mine that had conditions like Kill Rhulk, or helping people, or doing a specific action, or digging up treasure etc, didn't pop until my second playtrhough

I killed a gnoll by knocking Flind off a cliff onto the other one, nameless gnoll dies from Flind landing on them and no achieve. I would assume it's bugged.

I used my berserker barbarian, grabbed the 1d4 throw damage guantlets (they work on improv weapon), rage, grab a gobbi, smash it on another

Yeah I don't understand it either, I tried it with the goblin childs in the wolfpit, but no matter if they were friendly or enemies (and both alive), when I throw one of them against the other and both died, the achievement didn't pop up.

Found a way make it pop.

You cannot use Enraged Throw, you have to use Improvised Melee Weapon. Its an Action, not a bonus action. Its under the Common tab.

I used it and got a double kill, and the trophy popped. I did the same thing before with the same two mobs with Enraged throw MULTIPLE times and it did not work.

I see you mentioned the same ability, maybe try it while not being raged? Make sure its the grey ability and not the red one ^^. I cant help but feel like this will be a common mistake (I did the exact same).

So it turns out I'm an idiot and instead of using the improvised melee weapon action that everyone has, I only tried the raged berserker action . . . needless to say that you just have to hit someone with the common improvised weapon and it unlocks

I threw a redhat gnome at another redhat gnome, 1 died. (those things near the hag) . I was sort of expecting to get an achivement for that but nothing popped. But now that i know there is an achivement for it it must be bugged. (or throw does not count towards it :S)

yeah I don't think the throw is in the requirement, because the action of "improvised melee weapon" closer resembles that description of the achievement, so I think that is what they actually want you to do

Needs to be improvised melee throw action, not just throw or enraged throw.
Must cause both enemies to be killed
