How do i do haunted house?

In act 3 the artist quest i cant get upstairs what do i do

Im getting my butt kicked trying to get upstairs :(

You have to jump from stair to stair, avoid a line of sight with the skills. Use the glory jump potion

yeh i figured how to get up stairs from outside but now im stuck at the painting, i cant destroy it and have no idea what to do

Don't want to spoil to much, but you get a torch from another NPC in the city as a quest reward and you need to use this one on the painting.

i sendet 1 hero forwards to the 2 people talking, let him die and then all ghosts died at the same time, idk if its a bug but then nothing was attacking

Yea killing the artist is one way to solve the quest and the other way is going into the roof and dealing with the painting but you need an item found in an entirely different part of the city and theres no way to know any of it

The Armor from act 2 boss among other things make you immune to knockback, making the stairs very easy.

There for sure is a note in the same room as the painting that starts the next part of the quest.

Theres notes but it doesnt give you any hints and certainly doesnt give you a journal entry on what to do next

It sure does. The Note is adressed from Carrion to the painter. The next log entry is to ask the girl about Carrion.

Guess mine was massively bugged then since i read every note in there and the log never changed

Guess so, the note has the password for his door as well.

Hmm maybe i never found that note since i opened his door by putting his portrait on the pedestal

No the note should be somewhere around the ghost portrait in the secret room.
The password is for the next part.

To find the note, look in the chest behind the cursed painting. I struggled with that quest for ages
