Agreed. Larian cut a ton of narrative corners in the last Act to get the game out faster. It's a shame that the romances mostly end up being nothing, the side quests just sort of stop, and the ending is abrupt and without closure.
A great game ruined by dogwater endings.
Minthara and Karlach, being late additions as full companions, didn't get their stories finished.
Don't worry though, it isn't just you. The consensus for most people who got to Act 3 already is that the game falls apart and feels rushed and unsatisfying at that point.
Seriously the final reveal for the last battle was so hamfisted and lame
Add to the fact that *SPOILERS* there are literally no consequences to using or not using the tadpole powers . They could have done something very interesting with the system but I feel like they prioritized gameplay over narrative, which for an RPG, is very disappointing. I vastly preferred the EA tadpole system and narrative to what we have now.
