[Spoilers] Question about the end of Daughter of Darkness quest

So unless I missed something isn't Shadowheart supposed to be free from the curse from Shar if you end the parents suffering? Every now and then she still gets the random pain debuff from the Mysterious Sharran wound which I assumed would have gone away

I think its Shar's punishment for betraying her faith, she mentions that gods are petty and fickle

You'll have to find the Noblestalk Mushroom in the Underdark and give it to her. It's in the Bibberbang field (with a dwarf that's stuck) and must be recovered without blowing up all the Bibberbang. The mushroom will cure Shadowheart.

I have done all of this and she still gets hurt from the wound

no, the noblestalk does NOT heal her wound. it restores some of her memories, that's it.

There is no way to remove the wound. Whether that is a bug or not, I don't know, but you can give her the noblestalk, finish her entire questline, and the wound will still continue to bother her. It would be up to Shar herself to remove it, and she's not gonna.
